Practical cleanup

Wash washable bedding according to its care label, vacuum nearby areas thoroughly, empty the vacuum appropriately, and follow the directions of any environmental flea-control product you use. Repeat cleaning as needed because flea development occurs over time.

Coordinate pet and home care

Environmental cleanup does not replace an appropriately labeled flea product for the animal. Likewise, treating only the pet may leave environmental pressure unaddressed during an infestation.
