“Plant-based” describes ingredient sourcing or formulation choices; it does not tell you everything about efficacy, tolerability or suitability for a particular pet.

Common comparison points

Look at active ingredients and percentages, target pests, species restrictions, minimum age/weight, application frequency, water exposure and warnings. Essential oils and other plant-derived actives are biologically active substances and should be used only as directed.
